Ballyfin GAA make a donation to Laois Hospice following Liam Linden Memorial Golf Classic

Ballyfin GAA Club donated €1000 to a very worthy charity – Laois Hospice.

The funds for this generous donation were raised from September’s Liam Linden Memorial Golf Classic.

Liam left a deep imprint in business, GAA, golf and charity circles.

Liam oversaw a €25,000 donation to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital.

The Liam Linden Memorial Golf Classic was held in soaring temperatures on Friday September 13 2019.

The event was a champagne Golf Classic taking place in the wonderful setting of Mountrath Golf Club.

Over 120 golfers competed in four person teams for the title. It was a GAA club fundraiser.

Ballyfin GAA would like to thank all players and sponsors who made this donation possible and say this event will run again in 2020.
