There are three big games in the Laois SFC today.
Before last month, Ballyfin and Portarlington had never played against each other in the championship and now they are set to do it again.
The 2020 championship semi final was a one-sided affair and it is hard to see anything different here.
Both sides have won league titles since – albeit Portarlington’s was Division 1A while Ballyfin’s was three divisions lower.
That game is at 3pm while The Heath and Graiguecullen are on at 5pm.
These two clashed in Round 2 of the winners section last year but only one can make it to that stage now.
That was a very tight affair and Graiguecullen, despite playing with 14-men for the final quarter, won by three points.
The final game sees Ballyroan-Abbey and Killeshin clash at 7pm.
