There were two games down for decision this evening with semi final action in the Junior ‘B’ and ‘C’ football championships.
Slieve Bloom are through to the Junior ‘B’ decider following a five goal thriller with The Rock.
Slieve Bloom managed four goals and will now play the winners of Stradbally and Mountmellick in next week’s final.
Slieve Bloom led 2-5 to 0-8 at half time and finished it out strongly from there.
John Lowry top scored with 1-3 while Jake Collins, Ross Holmes and Evan Power all getting goals too.
A fantastic 2021 continued for Park-Ratheniska as their second team reached the Junior ‘C’ decider – defeating Ballyroan-Abbey’s third by 12.
Park-Ratheniska were in control from the start and the game was essentially over by half time.
Stephen Knowles bagged two first half goals as the victors led 2-8 to 0-3 at half time.
Noah Fingleton, Darragh Nolan, Pauric Tierney, Paidi Bourke, James Newell and Ian Moore all contributed points too.
They will now face the winners of Killeshin and Ballyfin in the final.
