The Laois camogie and Ladies ladies Feile finals took place in recent weeks.
Last weekend, Sarsfields claimed Division 1 ladies Feile glory by winning 1-6 to 1-1 against Portlaoise.
Park-Ratheniska won Division 3 against Shanahoe while Ballyroan triumphed 2-6 to 2-2 against St Brigid’s.
In the camogie the week previous, Naomh Eamann were crowned ‘A’ champions with a big win over The Harps.
While Abbeyleix enjoyed a 2-5 to 0-3 victory over O’Moore’s in the ‘B’ final.
This victory capped a fine couple of weeks for several of the Abbeyleix players.
The delayed 2020 final was played on July 31 and the same two teams clashed – with Abbeyleix also emerging victorious.
Nine players ended the period with three county medals in their back pockets.
All are dual players and represented both Abbeyleix and Ballyroan in the finals.
Niamh Scully, Clodagh Gee, Grace Foxe, Carragh Concannon, Aoibheann Phelan, Sasha O’Keefe, Emma Carney, Eabha Mills and Kaylee O’Keefe are the players who completed the remarkable feat.
Well done to all and check out some great pictures below:
