A fundraiser has been launched in aid of a young Laois girl’s family following her cancer diagnosis.
Three-year-old Isabel Geoghegan from Crettyard was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.
Isabel is the daughter of Éamonn Geoghegan and Brigid Nolan.
Isabel’s medical journey will include trips to hospitals, appointments, overnight stays and many other costs.
The family will be routinely back and forth from Crumlin Hospital in the coming weeks.
Support has flooded in for Isabel and her family since news of her diagnosis broke in recent weeks.
More than €8,000 has been generated in a GoFundMe Page and a spokesperson has urged people to help.
They said: “Isabel is a beautiful 3 year old little girl living in Ireland. Isabel has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.
“Isabel’s medical journey will include trips to hospitals, appointments, overnight stays and everyday associated living costs.
“This GoFundMe account is to support her parents Éamon and Brigid through these difficult and challenging times.
“Please support if you are in a position to. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
“Thank you all in advance.”
