All of Sunday’s Laois GAA results as Ladies championship gets underway

It was an extremely busy Sunday of GAA action and we have results from 22 matches below.

We had action in the top four tiers of the hurling championships and two Minor ‘A’ semi finals.

Sunday also saw the 2021 Ladies championships get underway and there were certainly some very interesting results.

2020 champions Portlaoise were held to a draw by St Brigid’s in Group B.

2019 champions Sarsfields were beaten by St Conleth’s while Timahoe enjoyed a big win over St Paul’s.

The teams who top each group will head for the semi finals with the remaining two teams contesting quarter finals.

The losers of the quarter finals will meet in a relegation playoff with the loser of that game facing whoever finishes last in Group 1 in the relegation final.
