All of Tuesday’s Laois GAA results

There was significant action in the Junior ‘B’ hurling championship with games in the three groups.

In Group A, Rathdowney-Errill defeated Kyle while Park-Ratheniska-Timahoe have withdrawn from the competition.

That means that if Portlaoise defeat Rathdowney-Errill in the final group game, a playoff will be required as those teams and Kyle will finish level on four points.

Group B could be decided on points difference if The Harps defeat Rosenallis next. But a draw or win for Rosenallis will send them through as group winners.

While in group C, Mick Dunphy scored four goals as Clough-Ballacolla saw off Mountmellick in a 12 goal thriller.

The group will be decided when Borris-Kilcotton face Mountmellick next where a win or draw for the former will put them through as group winners while a Mountmellick win would necessitate the use of points difference.
