Those hoping to attend the Laois v Waterford All-Ireland Hurling Qualifier this weekend have received a boost.
Initially, only 500 tickets were being allocated for the game in Nowlan Park on Saturday at 2pm.
However, yesterday, the GAA confirmed that this had been successfully increased to 3,500.
Laois GAA confirmed the news in a statement that was released last night.
They said: “As a result of this increase, there should be plenty availability of tickets to meet our requirements.
“Rather than have to travel to our office, clubs are advised that they may now purchase and download their tickets by accessing the link here.
“Note tickets are sold in pods of 2s and 4s at €25 per ticket. No concessions or returns.”
