Here are all of Saturday’s Laois GAA results from a busy and sweltering hot day

On a sweltering hot day, it was another extremely busy day on the GAA front with games all over the county.

St Joseph’s have confirmed their place in Division 1A semi-finals after a six point win over Ballyroan-Abbey.

Ballylinan and Graiguecullen face each other tomorrow night in the final game of Division 1A.

If Ballylinan beat their opponents by 14 points it would put Ballyroan-Abbey through on points difference.

Ballylinan must win by 16 points to qualify while Graiguecullen can lose by less than 14 and still make the last four.

Division 1A Group B will also be completed tomorrow night. Therefore, the fixtures for the semi-finals confirmed after the completion of those games.

Killeshin will face Emo in Division 1B semi-final after their victory over Arles-Kilcruise tonight.

While the other semi-final will be made up of The Heath and Arles-Killeen.

The relegation semi-finals will see Clonaslee play Arles-Kilcruise while Stradbally will meet Portlaoise’s second team.

In Division 2, Park-Ratheniska will play Mountmellick and Rosenallis will battle it out against Timahoe in the semi-finals.

The relegation semi-finals are also confirmed as St Joseph’s and O’Dempsey’s second team’s will face each other while Portarlington’s second team will place Crettyard.

In Division 1B of the hurling league, the semi-finals are also confirmed after the result tonight.

As Portlaoise gave Ballinakill a walkover, a rules adviser will be required to determine what happens next.

If results involving Portlaoise are discounted, Clough-Ballacolla will finish ahead of Ballinakill on points difference and join Rathdowney-Errill in the semi-finals.

That would mean Camross will play Clough-Ballacolla while Rathdowney-Errill will face Mountrath in the semi-finals.

While the relegation semi-finals would see Colt-Shanahoe play Portlaoise and Ballinakill will face Ballyfin.

However, if points difference cannot be used, a playoff between Ballinakill and Clough-Ballacolla will be required to determine the final semi final place.
