All of of the Laois GAA results from a very busy Sunday of action

There were more important games up for decision today in the football and hurling leagues.

The Laois ladies also secured their place in the All-Ireland quarter-final following a fine victory over Roscommon in Kinnegad.

There was plenty of domestic action on show in the hurling leagues.

The Division 1A final is now decided after Rathdowney-Errill defeated Camross and Borris-Kilcotton got the better of Abbeyleix – and we have links to reports below.

The Division 1A relegation final will be between The Harps and Rosenallis after they lost respective semi-finals today.

Colt-Shanahoe and Ballyfin will face each other in the Division 1B relegation final following their defeats against Portlaoise and Ballinakill respectively.

Park-Ratheniska-Timahoe were defeated by Mountmellick in the Division 2 relegation semi-final and they will now meet Colt-Shanhaoe in the relegation final.

There was also action in the football leagues as Courtwood had a comprehensive victory over Ballylinan in the Division 1A relegation semi-final.

A brace of goals from Niall Dunne in between efforts from Cian Doyle and David Duffy – along with eight points from Alan Kinsella resulted in victory for Courtwood. Ballylinan will now face O’Dempsey’s in the relegation final.

Elsewhere, Emo produced a fine win over Killeshin in the Division. 1B Semi-final and they will meet Arles-Killeen in the final.
