Here are all of Thursday’s Laois GAA results

The GAA action continued today in Laois with matches in both adult and juvenile level.

The first round of the Division 5 football got underway with games in three of the four groups.

Once again, the games of real significance took place at juvenile level as Laois GAA seek to complete last years championships.

Two U-13 ‘A’ hurling championship quarter-finals were down for decision.

Castletown faced Rathdowney-Errill in one and took a 1-5 to 0-5 lead at halftime.

They built on this in the second half to run out  six point winners and setup a a semi-final game this Sunday against The Harps.

In the other quarter-final, Clough-Ballacolla were three point winners over Na Fianna and they will play Portlaoise in the semi-final on Sunday.

Group C – St Joseph’s 4-8 Park-Ratheniska 4-12
Group D – Kilcavan 3-9 Ballyroan-Abbey 6-12
