A Laois soccer club has moved its lotto online as it continues with its remarkable development plan.
Killeshin FC, who play in the Carlow Soccer League, have made the online step using clubforce and will host the first draw tonight.
After recently installing a state of the art 3G pitch, secretary Ian McDonald says that all money raised through the lotto will go towards the completion of new dressing rooms.
He said: “To mark the occasion of our lotto going online, the club are giving 10 Lucky dip winners €25 each in the Sunday 31st January with this weeks Jackpot standing at €3,700
“All proceeds go towards the Clubs Development plan which this year saw the completion of the new full size FIFA Quality 3G pitch and Multi Use Games Area.
“These have been constructed by JNC Premier Pitches with the support of Leader funding through Laois LCDC.
“Separately the club are also completing Construction of their new Clubhouse with local contractor JC Brenco.
“The club fields 18 teams in the Carlow Leagues with over 300 players registered.
“For all clubs it has been a year with very few opportunities to run fundraisers due to Covid 19 restrictions so the club are hopeful that online sales will boost their Lotto to help complete their Clubhouse.”
