The Laois Ladies have retained the services of their outgoing management team for the 2021 season.
Arles-Killeen native Donie Brennan will remain in charge of the side when the new season kicks off next year.
The former Laois footballer, who works as a Games Development Administrator for Laois GAA, succeeded David Gibson in the role at the end of last year.
Laois were in Division 3 of the league and found themselves in third place before Covid-19 brought action to a halt in March.
It got back underway again in October and Laois enjoyed a big win over Sligo in Round 1 of the All-Ireland Intermediate championship.
They came unstuck in Round 2 but bounced back in serious style to defeat Kildare in their final group game.
That meant that they finished level with Kildare and Clare at the top of the group but just missed out on an All-Ireland semi final place on points difference.
Donie is set to be assisted once again by Timahoe’s Maggie Murphy, Portlaoise’s Daniel O’Neill, Crettyard’s John Murphy and Stradbally’s Liam Delaney.
Laois LGFA said: “We are delighted to announce that Donie Brennan and his management team will take charge for another year!
“We have seen the work that has been done in the last year and, believe us, it wasn’t an easy year due to the current situation we all find ourselves in!
“But Donie got plenty of fire back into the Ladies’ bellies and they are all dying to get back onto that pitch and prove they are getting Laois back to where they belong!
“Wishing Donie and the gang the very best in 2021.”
