Today is another huge day in the Laois GAA calendar with the remaining three Laois SFC quarter-finals down for decision.
MW Hire O’Moore Park hosts a triple header – though with crowd restrictions in place, each set of supporters have to vacate the ground before the start of the next game.
Ballyfin are already through to the semi-finals following their win over The Heath yesterday evening.
First up is the meeting of Graiguecullen and Ballylinan at 1pm when there should be a massive battle between Gary Walsh and Mark Timmons.
O’Dempsey’s and Portarlington meet at 3pm for what will be their first championship clash since 2005 while champions Portlaoise do battle with Emo at 5pm.
We’ll also be providing updates from the two junior football quarter-finals between The Heath and Castletown and St Joseph’s and Ballyroan-Abbey.
All games will have to be decided on the day so extra time and penalties will be used if necessary.
Today’s games will be the last senior action for a number of weeks as the championship is set to be put on hold until Laois’s intercounty season is over which could be mid to late November.
Indeed the semi-final draw won’t be made after today’s games as in previous years but instead will be held closer to the semi-finals.
For now, though, you can follow all of the action on our Live Blog below.
